Gargoyles, Vampires, Succubus, Demons...

Creatures spreading chaos and destruction everywhere they go. In the past, they were monsters depicted only in books, their powers and abilities making anyone wet their beds at night. Unfortunately, the toll of the Apocalypse brought them to life.

VAMPIRES

Wretched creatures that feed on the blood of humans in the wake of the night. What is said in the books is very different from what has been observed by the humans lucky enough to survive an attack or by hunters that successfully killed one.

First, they are entirely made of blood. Their whole essence is liquid and it's the reason why they need to drink approximatively a gallon of blood. Like parasites, they can go inside their victim's body once they are dead and their blood sucked dry. That's how they usually hunt for blood; They enter a corpse, then feed on other humans and fill their container of blood before running away. They are tricky creatures who deceive others by wearing human's skin like clothing.

Don't be wrong, however, even without a body, they are exceptionally fast. In fact, they are easier to kill when in a human body because, without it, they don't have a solid form so they don't get hurt.

Their first weakness is the sun. It evaporates the blood they are made of if they're not hiding inside a corpse. Even when wearing a body, the sun makes the skin of the corpse rot at an alarming pace. Because of their weakness of the sun, they prefer staying in a dark and cold place, usually in a coffin. They are very fond of mausoleum so it's recommended to avoid any cemetery at night.

Their second weakness is only exploitable in their blood form; Water. When thrown in a basin filled with water, the blood starts deforming itself. Be mindful to not throw them in a lake, as it poisons the water.

Their third weakness is only exploitable in a body; Purifying the body they inhabit with holy water. It usually burns the body along with them inside.

Their fourth weakness, like the previous one, is only exploitable when they are inside a body; Harming the head(crushing, stabbing, shooting...). It usually does the trick.

SUCCUBUS

Creatures made to deceive men with their lustful body to feed on their soul. Even a saint would sell himself to them, lost to the promises of pleasure they sell.

Unlike vampires, Succubus are easy to recognize. After all, they do not gain anything by hiding themselves. What's frightening is how despite knowing what they are, men are still attracted to them, like hypnotized the moment their eyes fall on their lascivious body. Succubus are, for the most part, identical to a female human. What distinguishes them is their black wings in the back, their snow white skin, their forked snake-like tongue and the fact that they always walk around naked. They are also unable to speak and produce only shrieking or moaning sounds. Succubus are stronger than the average human and quicker, but they are not made for combat.

Succubus have the ability to suck the soul of their mate the moment they reach their orgasm and to make any men follow them with a simple glance.

Their first weakness is when they copulate. Like their victim, they are at their most vulnerable when they are caught in the act. They cannot be cut down by their victim, as their charm works too much for them to realize that they do not want to die, but Succubus are too busy providing pleasure to be aware of someone else besides their victim. It's easy to attack them from behind when it's happening. Even when reaching orgasm, they are still vulnerable and unaware of their surrounding, but it's impossible to save their victim at that point.

Their second weakness is straight women. They simply cannot charm them.

WEREWOLVES

These creatures were once considered the salvation of mankind, little did we know that they would lose to their beast and become another enemy to us.

Werewolves were created ten years ago with dark magic in a way to oppose the other monsters hunting us. Unfortunately, like a disease, they soon became too sick to keep their sanity and became mad with anger towards anyone and anything. They were once humans that agreed to sacrifice their body for the benefit of mankind, but what the sorcerers never envisaged was that the transformation would take a toll on their mind.

Like beasts, werewolves have incredible instincts and they are great predators, possibly as great as demons. However, they are dumb. There's no human ingeniosity left in their brain.

Some Werewolves kept their beast in check and are still sane enough to speak, but these poor souls can only count the days until they lose their never-ending battle with the wild beast inside of them.

Their first weakness is their stupidity. It's easy to aggro them and even easier to set traps for them to fall into. The only downside is that once they are following, they are following you until they cannot move anymore. They're very persistent.

Their second weakness is their strong senses, like demons. A stink bomb or a smoke bomb is always good to have around them.

Their last weakness is that they're working alone. They always attack anything and anyone in their surrounding, so they can be taken down by bringing them to a stronger monster that is going to take them down for yourself.

GARGOYLES

These creatures can be considered peaceful, but their death count is heavy enough for anyone to avoid them like a plague.

Gargoyles are mostly dormant monsters that don't need to eat to survive. They are not very motivated to do anything besides sleeping, in fact. Unfortunately, they tend to prefer sleeping on the roof of high buildings and hate being disturbed. They hate being disturbed so badly that they eliminate any human living in the area they desire to use for their nest. Knowing this, it's easier to understand why hunters chase them away or destroy them.

They're not very intelligent but they can understand and speak human language. Most of them chose not to, however. They're very finicky.

Their first weakness is their slow movements. They are made of stone so they're particularly slow. They hit hard, however, so be mindful of that.

Their second weakness is their distaste of any holy scent. Holy water drives them away fairly quickly. Or prompt them to kill you, it depends.

Their third weakness is that without their wings, they are as good as dead.

FAIRIES

There's a reason why people prefer staying out of the forests and it's because of these little bastards. Fairies are very cunning creatures that prey on the flesh of anything stepping in their woods. Because nobody ever came out alive of a hunt against them, not much is known about them besides the fact that they don't hunt alone.

Their weaknesses ???
Rumored to be weak against smoke bombs.

Fallen Angels

Angels had decided on deserted God completely and becoming followers of Lucifer themselves as he himself is a fallen angel. They look the most human of the creatures as they can hide their form just like a regular angel, but their black eyes give away that they are not human at all.

They have huge black feather wings with red feather marking at the tips on their wings. Their wingspan is twice the size of their body weight, and the feather is razor sharp when using as a weapon. They are bigger than normal angel as they are twice the height of a Grey.

They are very powerful as they are tied to Lucifer himself and are able to easily wipe out humans. Fallen are not to be a mess with as they can use varies of tactics on killing someone. They hold a power to cause darkness in one heart to show and corrupted their minds with it. They can cast an illusion and blend into the shadows around them. They are opposite of angel so instead of healing, they cause wounds to become infected over time.

They have a weakness when their wings are damaged as they are better in the air than the ground in combat.

Fallen angel other weakness is that they are able to be cleansed by a regular or white angel if they are weakened to the point they cannot fight them back.

The last weakness is that their wings hold the key to most of their powers, so if they lose a wing, it can weaken their ability to heal or even use section powers.

DEMONS

These monsters come from the very pit of Hell. They appeared crawling through the ground to sow discord and feed on the poor bastards not quick enough to escape.

Demons don't have a particular appearance as they are mostly shape-shifting for a better hunt. They possess many eyes, arms, noses, ears and so on. They have nothing in common with humans in any shape or form. However, they can try to imitate them but it's rarely convincing. Demons are very intelligent creatures but they rely heavily on their instinct as they were born predators. They are very prideful and greedy creatures. Many desire tasting the flesh of an Angel.

Those monsters are made of thick skin and they have the ability to regenerate at will. They are insanely quick and strong.

Their first weakness is holy water. It's the only thing that can burn their skin and allow hunters to pierce or shot them. Without holy water, you are basically screwed.

Their second weakness is their senses. They are so strong that if you throw a smoke bomb or a stink bomb, it's going to immobilize them for a short time.

Their last weakness is the weapons that received the blessing of an Angel. It's way more efficient than holy water.

SKELETONS

Living skeletons are a result of what necromancers tried to accomplish once upon a time.
Nobody really knows what caused their downfall, but most bet their experiments caused their death.

Skeletons spawn naturally in certain areas where necromancy circles were drawn. They are not very strong or fast, but they're numerous and immortals as long as they are near the ground blessed with necromancy magic. They are not gifted of a brain but they instinctively equip themselves with weapons and armors. Some were magically altered to behave differently from the rest.

Their greatest weakness is their fragility.

SPIRITS

The souls of the damned, those who died since the apocalypse, forever tormented by the suffering that brought them to their doom. They are stuck between the living and the dead, to never reach the Heaven's gates.

Spirits are intangible creatures that can only haunt and curse. They are said to be filled with resent towards the living, but nothing is comparable to their hostility towards Angels for closing the Heaven's doors and cursing them to an existence of torment. They are very indecisive and they tergiversate a lot. Not to be trusted.

Their only weakness is holy water, blessed salt or holy weapons.
